Brand new VW Polo won by lucky shopper at The Heart

To celebrate the opening of The Heart, a three week “Win a Car” promotion was launched on the centre’s opening day, October 25.

The prize - a brand new flash red VW Polo was revealed just an hour after the opening of the new shopping development. Shoppers had three weeks to post their entries at The Heart and the winner was determined by an independent prize draw.

The winner of The Heart car promotion was announced live on Radio Jackie during their roadshow at the centre’s Christmas lights switch-on evening, Friday, November 17. Winner of the car Mr. Arthur Benham from Weybridge did not believe his ears when his name was called out and said “the last thing I won was a bottle of Gin fourty years ago!” Ironically he and his wife Lorna were thinking of getting a VW in the near future.

It has been a major step up in terms of the prizes, and Mr and Mrs Benham have since completed the registration and picked up their brand new car from Colbornes’ Guildford branch show room.
